O evento seguirá até o dia 20 de outubro, no Ginásio Municipal de Esportes Karl Heinz Kopittke, com a participação de mais de 70 clubes, reunindo cerca de 1100 atletas do Brasil, Uruguai e Paraguai. A promoção é da Patinart Academia de Patinação de Novo Hamburgo, com apoio da Prefeitura de Campo Bom, através da SMEL – Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer.
A expectativa é que a edição que inicia nesta semana seja ainda maior e melhor do que o que se presenciou em 2018, quando, além do espetáculo na pista, o evento contabilizou público de 15 mil pessoas em oito dias de apresentações. Além das delegações gaúchas, uruguaias e paraguaias, já estão chegando ao município, equipes de Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Minas Gerais.
O secretário de Esporte e Lazer, João Carlos e Silva, ressalta que além do espetáculo ao longo da competição, na pista instalada no Ginásio Municipal, a Copa Mercosul, também trará grande movimentação ao comércio local. “A primeira edição, em outubro do ano passado, foi um grande sucesso, mais que aprovado, pelo que apresentou dentro da pista e pela movimentação na cidade e visibilidade que deu a Campo Bom”, relembra JC.
Nesta quinta e sexta-feira, 10 e 11, as provas iniciam às 8 horas da manhã e seguem até por volta das 22 horas. No sábado, 12, tem reconhecimento de pista a partir das 7 horas e as provas começam às 9h20, seguindo, sem intervalo, até 0h40. Domingo também tem reconhecimento de pista das 8 horas às 9h20, seguindo as provas até às 22h15. A partir de segunda-feira, 14, até quinta, 17, as atividades iniciam às 8 horas. Sexta, 18, tem reconhecimento de pista das 8h35 às 8h45 e provas a partir das 8h55. No sábado, 19, as provas iniciam às 9 horas e o encerramento está previsto para às 19 horas.
