A primeira parada do Oi STU Qualifying Series foi encerrada no último domingo, dia 27 de janeiro,  em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina Brasil.

“Eu estou sem palavras. Primeira etapa do ano, em casa, minha família assistindo. Consegui encaixar uma boa linha. Acabou que improvisei, porque ontem no treino descobri o que estava errando. Faltava velocidade. Aí mudei toda minha linha, troquei as manobras, dei uma improvisada e acabei

acertando. Ou seja, errei, mas acertei. É a primeira vez que faço 85 pontos, então foi demais. Ter as meninas com a pontuação tão próxima só mostra que o nível do skate está muito bom”.

Vice-campeã, Dora Varella comemorou sua performance e dividiu a alegria por ver a amiga ganhar seu primeiro título no STU.

“Consegui fazer tudo que tinha planejado. Estou muito feliz. A Isa andou muito. Este é o primeiro título de STU dela. Todo mundo se puxando, não tem ninguém superior. O pódio sempre vai variar, quem for melhor no dia é que vai ganhar. Isso é a melhor coisa do skate”.
