Vans Park Series, o principal campeonato do mundo da modalidade Park acaba de anunciar oficialmente o calendário do Pro Tour de 2019. Antecipando outra temporada histórica no cenário internacional do skate, que culminará no World Championships, o Vans Park Series (VPS) nesse ano irá pousar em cinco grandes países, expandindo e atualizando sua programação para representar proporcionalmente quatro Pro Tour qualifiers nas categorias masculino e feminino, e mantendo seu compromisso de paridade de premiação entre homens e mulheres, independente da etapa, do ranking e das posições.
“Nossa missão é inspirar a juventude e o crescimento da participação do skate ao redor do mundo. Promover a cultura única e criativa que somente o skate proporciona continua sendo nosso objetivo número um”, diz Bobby Gascon, diretor global de action sports da Vans. “Agora com o Vans Park Series em seu quarto ano consecutivo, nós estamos ainda mais dedicados, motivados e convictos em apoiar a modalidade Park e cultivar a elite do skateboard e seus profissionais, que são merecedores de seu reconhecimento internacional”.
O VPS Pro Tour será recebido pela primeira vez na cidade de Salt Lake, localizado em Utah, no dia 7 de Setembro de 2019. Os campeões mundiais das duas divisões de Park serão coroados ao vivo diante de uma calorosa plateia no Utah State Fairpark.
Contando com uma transmissão ao vivo de alta qualidade em cada parada, o Vans Park Series irá trazer um espetáculo empolgante para todos os espectadores ao redor do mundo.
Visando consolidar ainda mais a missão de contribuir com o crescimento da participação do skate em todo o mundo, o Vans Park Series planeja auxiliar o desenvolvimento da comunidade do skate através da construção e doação de três skate parks - cumprindo todos os padrões, requisitos e certificações do VPS para a modalidade competitiva de Park - em locais do VPS Pro Tour 2019. The world's largest skateboarding championship will crown the 2019 global champions in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Vans Park Series, the premier World Championship in the Park mode, has just officially announced the 2019 Pro Tour calendar. Anticipating another historic season on the international skateboarding scene, which will culminate in the World Championships, the Vans Park Series (VPS) this year will to land in five major countries, expanding and updating its schedule to represent proportionally four Pro Tour qualifiers in the men's and women's categories, and maintaining its commitment of prize parity between men and women, regardless of the stage, ranking and positions.
"Our mission is to inspire youth and the growth of skateboarding around the world. Promoting the unique and creative culture that only skateboarding provides continues to be our number one goal, "says Bobby Gascon, Vans global director of action sports. The VPS Pro Tour will be hosted for the first time in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 7, 2019. The world champions of the two Park divisions will be crowned live before a warm crowd at the Utah State Fairpark.
Featuring a high quality live stream at each stop, the Vans Park Series will bring an exciting spectacle to all viewers around the world.
Aiming to further strengthen its mission to contribute to the growth of skateboarding worldwide, the Vans Park Series plans to assist the development of the skate community by building and donating three skate parks - meeting all standards, requirements and certifications from VPS to Park's competitive mode - at VPS Pro Tour 2019 venues.
