Jorge Gouveia, novo diretor da seção, eleito para o próximo biênio, disse à Rádio Boa Boa que “foi considerado um projeto para acompanhar o trabalho realizado no clube, principalmente neste esporte e patinação artística.
O fato de a seção ter cerca de 150 atletas, de escolas, benjamins, escolares, menores de 13 anos, menores de 15 anos, menores de 19 anos, idosos e patinação artística, é prova de que “as zonas interiores” podem aumentar, com dignidade, a modalidade .
"Temos um projeto para este biênio que, segundo entendemos, será extremamente produtivo para o esporte", afirmou Jorge Gouveia.
Neste momento, esta seção do FCOH tem "grande fraqueza em termos de atletas". Nesse momento, Jorge Gouveia disse à Rádio Boa Nova que o conselho está "fazendo uma grande aposta em iniciação e treinamento" para preencher a lacuna de jogadores que vão embora no futuro quando ingressarem no ensino superior.
"Vamos ser coesos, com espírito de equipe, para que todos possamos ter bons resultados e, acima de tudo, criar um espírito de família no hóquei", disse ele.
