O mundo do skate street reverencia duas atletas brasileiras. Neste domingo, no Campeonato Mundial realizado na cidade de São Paulo, a líder do ranking Pamela Rosa conquistou o título, enquanto sua compatriota Rayssa Leal, de apenas 11 anos, ficou na segunda posição. O resultado deixa as duas com um pé, na verdade, com as rodinhas, muito perto da Olimpíada de Tóquio. Aori Nishimura, do Japão, ficou em terceiro.
- Eu estou muito feliz. Quando eu piso no skate eu já estou me divertindo. Esse título não é só meu. Estou focado nos próximos campeonatos para eu representar meu país. O Brasil é muito bom, essa torcida é muito boa. Eu quis correr com a camisa do Brasil para mostrar que a gente é Brasil - disse, emocionada.
Rayssa Leal liderou a prova após cinco das sete rodadas, quando Pamela assumiu a ponta com uma manobra espetacular que gerou a nota de 7,8, a maior de toda a decisão. Na última rodada, Rayssa ainda tentou passar, mas não conseguiu, caindo. As duas comemoram muito a conquista, para o delírio dos mais de seis mil presentes.
Desta forma, o título volta para o Brasil após três anos. Em 2015, Letícia Bufoni tinha ficado com o título, mas nos três anos seguintes ela foi vice.
O skate fará sua estreia em Jogos Olímpicos no ano que vem, em Tóquio, com as disputas das categorias street e park. O ranking mundial é uma das formas de classificação, e Pâmela, que já era líder, deu um passo ainda maior para o Japão. Rayssa, que era vice-líder, também se manterá em segundo, e com a vaga encaminhada.
Importante lembrar que Letícia Bufoni, brasileira campeã em 2015 e três vezes vice-campeã (2016/17/18) está lesionada e não participou. Ela esteve no Anhembi, com uma bota ortopédica no pé. Ela está na terceira posição no ranking mundial e tem totais condições de pegar a vaga olímpica na classificação que fecha em maio do ano que vem.

O americano Nyjah Huston conquistou pela terceira vez seguida o título mundial masculino. A segunda posição ficou com o japonês Yuto Horigome e a terceira posição ficou com o português Gustavo Ribeiro. O brasileiro Kelvin Hoefler terminou na quarta posição, a apenas 0,2 de um lugar no pódio. Na última manobra, sofreu uma queda e saiu com dores no joelho esquerdo.
Como foi a final
Após as duas primeiras apresentações, dadas no percurso completo, Rayssa liderava, seguida por Duran e Nishimura. Pamela, que errou em suas duas linhas inicias, estava em quarto.
Aí vieram as manobras únicas. Uma única manobra que vale de 0 a 10. Rayssa já abriu com um 5,7 e seguiu na liderança após a primeira série. Na segunda rodada das manobras únicas, Pamela conseguiu um seis e pulou para terceiro. Ja Rayssa anotou 6,4 para seguir em primeiro.
Na terceira rodada de manobra única, Pâmela teve 6,3 e Rayssa incríveis 7,2, para seguir em primeiro.
