De 11 a 15 de setembro, a patinadora Maria Luiza Kienast, de 14 anos, estreou na competição a nova coreografia na categoria Free Dance e saiu como campeã.
A cidade sede da competição teve representantes quatro vezes no pódio.
A itajaiense conquistou também lugares no pódio em todas as categorias que disputou:
1º lugar na categoria Free Dance – Torneio Nacional até 14 anos;
1º lugar na categoria Solo Dance – Pré Internacional Cadete 13 anos até 14 anos;
4º lugar na categoria Open Loops – iniciantes Nível 1;
5º lugar na categoria Figuras Obrigatórias – Adulto Nível 1.
O campeonato reuniu mais de 100 atletas de várias cidades do estado. Outro destaque do evento foi a participação da campeã munidal de 2019, a joinvilense Gabriela Giraldi, que recebeu homenagem pela Fundação Municipal de Esporte e Lazer(FMEL) de Itajaí. Foi no ginásio Gabriel Collares que Gabriela começou a carreira.
Esta competição foi a última da temporada aqui no estado. A itajaiense agora foca no próximo ano. Além das disputas individuais, Maria Luiza vai representar a cidade com a esquipe Hera de Patinação Artística, equipe consagrada campeã sul-americana na modalidade Grupo de Show.

The skater Maria Luiza Kienast, 14, debuted at the Santa Catarina Figure Skating Championship at Gabriel Collares Gymnasium, in Itajaí, Santa Cararina, Brazil.

The championship brought together more than 100 athletes from various cities of the state. Another highlight of the event was the participation of the 2019 world champion, joinvilense Gabriela Giraldi, who was honored by the Itajaí Municipal Foundation for Sports and Leisure (FMEL). It was at Gabriel Collares gymnasium that Gabriela began her career.
This competition was the last of the season here in the state. The Itajai now focuses on next year. In addition to the individual disputes, Maria Luiza will represent the city with the Hera team of Figure Skating, a consecrated South American champion team in the Show Group mode.
