A cidade de Lauro Freitas recebeu com arquibancadas lotadas a etapa baiana do Circuito Brasileiro de Skate Street (STU) neste sábado.
Foram disputadas neste segundo dia de competições as fases classificatórias, com a definição das finalistas femininas e os semifinalistas masculinos.
Destaque para Rayssa Leal, a 'fadinha", que ficou na segunda posição e disputará no domingo a final da etapa. Confira abaixo programação e resultados.
Fadinha, que tem só 11 anos, é o grande nome entre as mulheres. Além de ter vencido a última etapa em Belo Horizonte, ela recentemente conquistou de maneira histórica a etapa de Los Angeles da Street League Skateboarding.
Apesar da boa fase, Rayssa foi superada nas semifinais pela jovem Marina Gabriela, que assumiu a liderança na segunda das quatro baterias e manteve a vantagem até o fim.
- Foi bem da hora. Eu achei que não ia conseguir ir tão bem porque não estava acertando muito as manobras que eu queria durante o aquecimento, mas acabou que tudo saiu quase perfeito durante a competição mesmo. Me concentrei, joguei o skate e acertei. Eu gostei da minha primeira volta e depois consegui acertar quatro das cinco manobras. Fiz um Nose nollie bigspin no caixote reto e acho que foi o que fez a diferença - disse Marina que somou 20.3 pontos.
Destaque também no feminino para Gabi Mazzeto, que após duas lesões sérias e uma cirurgia no joelho voltou a competir pelo Circuito depois de um ano e está entre as oito finalistas de domingo.
- Fazia tempo que eu não chegava na final. Foi incrível eu só espero que amanhã dê tudo certo de novo. Estou me sentindo 100%, acertei tudo que eu queria e espero que amanhã eu siga na mesma vibe de hoje - disse Gabi.
Entre os homens, a disputa foi acirrada. Apenas um décimo separou Ygor Picolino (7.4) e Tiago Antunes (7.3). Com o resultado, eles os outros 19 classificados neste sábado se juntam a Gabryel Aguilar, João Lucas Xuxu, Elton Melônio, Lucas Xaparral, Rogério Febem e Paulo Galera - pré-classificados pelo ranking nacional.
- Assim como eu ando de skate no meu dia a dia, eu sempre procuroandar com o coração. Então eu vou fluindo e deixando meu coração ser a bússola, vou dando as manobras e evoluindo. Hoje eu sabia as três primeiras manobras que faria e o resto foi na hora mesmo. Aí procurei fazer uma manobra que a galera não faz muito e que eu tenho na base que é o anti Smith, consegui umas variações dela e foi bem legal porque é um movimento diferente. Então fiquei muito feliz e amanhã é sentir de novo e deixar fluir - vibrou Ygor Picolino, que tem 22 anos e é natural de Gravataí.

- It was just fine. I didn't think I could do so well because I wasn't getting the maneuvers I wanted so much during the warm-up, but it turned out that it was almost perfect during the competition anyway. I concentrated, played the skateboard, and got it right. I enjoyed my first lap and then managed to hit four of the five maneuvers. I made a Nose Nollie Bigspin in the straight box and I think that's what made the difference - said Marina who scored 20.3 points.
Also noteworthy is Gabi Mazzeto, who after two serious injuries and knee surgery has returned to compete for the Circuit after one year and is among Sunday's eight finalists.
- It had been a while since I reached the final. It was amazing I just hope tomorrow will be all right again. I'm feeling 100%, I got everything I wanted and I hope tomorrow I will follow the same vibe today - said Gabi.
Among men, the dispute was fierce. Only one tenth separated Ygor Picolino (7.4) and Tiago Antunes (7.3).
