Praticantes penduraram o skate por um dia e colocaram a mão na massa ontem para revitalizar a Bauru Skate Park, no Jardim Aeroporto. Um grupo de cerca de dez skatistas participou da ação.
"Nós realizamos a manutenção, tampamos todos os buracos e também fizemos a pintura. Foi tudo com recursos próprios. O próximo passo é arrecadar mais verba para passar uma resina de proteção no cimento", explica Sereno Sachs, coordenador da ação.
Desde que foi inaugurada, em dezembro de 2015, a pista passou por vários episódios de vandalismo. "O banheiro é um dos locais mais afetados. A prefeitura vai fechar e colocar grade nos banheiros nesta segunda. Então, eles ficarão fechados e só vão ser abertos em evento", complementa Sachs.
Além dos banheiros, a prefeitura também limpou todo o entorno da pista e reativou, anteontem, a Feira Livre no local, que funcionará toda sexta, das 16h às 20h.
A Bauru Skate Park fica às margens do Aeroclube, na praça Silvestre Amantini, quadra 37 da rua Araújo Leite, esquinas com as ruas Alípio dos Santos e Abrahão Rahal.

Practitioners hanged the skateboard for a day and put their hands in the dough yesterday to revitalize the Bauru Skate Park, at Garden Airport. A group of about ten skaters participated in the action.
"We did the maintenance, we covered all the holes and we also did the painting, it was all with our own resources," said Sereno Sachs, coordinator of the action, "the next step is to raise more money to pass a protective resin."
Since it opened in December of 2015, the track has gone through several episodes of vandalism. "The bathroom is one of the most affected places, and the city will close and put a grid in the bathrooms on Monday, so they will be closed and will only be opened in an event," Sachs adds.
In addition to the toilets, the city also cleaned the entire area around the lane and reactivated the Free Fair on the spot, which will work every Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Bauru Skate Park is on the banks of the Aeroclube, in Silvestre Amantini square, block 37 of Araújo Leite street, corners with streets Alípio dos Santos and Abrahão Rahal.
