A cultura hip hop mostra sua força em Votuporanga com mais um evento, desta vez dedicado às danças urbanas. Trata-se do UBC Battle 2019, idealizado pelo coletivo votuporanguense Urban Beats Brasil e realizado com apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e da Secretaria Estadual de Cultura e Economia Criativa.
Com uma programação que envolve oficinas gratuitas e batalhas de breakdance, o UBC Battle será realizado neste sábado, 5, das 9h30 às 19h, tendo como palco a Concha Acústica "Prof. Geraldo Alves Machado".
O objetivo do evento é divulgar a cultura hip hop e abrir espaço para que os artistas apresentem seus trabalhos e troquem informações com nomes de outras regiões.
"Desde 2010, nosso coletivo organiza, em Votuporanga e região, ações para fomentar a cultura hip-hop. Já realizamos duas edições do UBC Battle, nos bairros São João e Pozzobon, no entanto, neste ano, o projeto vem remodelado, com a presença não só de artistas locais, mas da região e até de cidades mais distantes", contam os bboys Le e Wesley, integrantes do Urban Beats Brasil e organizadores do evento.
Os jurados das batalhas de breakdance serão os bboys Ricka (Back Spin Crew), Pedrinho (Footwork Squad) e Raffa (Beat Squad). A apresentação ficará a cargo do bboy Le e a discotecagem será feita pelo DJ Poçam.
A batalhas serão realizadas pelo sistema "1 contra 1", e os três melhores colocados receberão, respectivamente, 1 mil reais, 700 reais, e 500 reais.
Três oficinas de danças urbanas: "Hip Hop" (9h30) e "House" (llh30), com o bboy Carlin (Street Boys), de Fernandópolis; e "Breaking" (10h30), com Pedrinho (Footwork Squad), de Bento Gonçalves (RS).
