Na superação. A equipe de BMX da Associação São-carlense de Ciclismo (ASC) brilhou na oitava etapa do Campeonato Paulista, realizada domingo, 13, em São Miguel Paulista, São Paulo, Brasil. Ao longo da temporada, são dez etapas.
O time são-carlense, orientado pelo técnico Everton Silva conseguiu expressivos resultados e foi pódio seis vezes, com os bikes são-carlenses conquistando medalhas e colocando a cidade em evidência.
“A equipe de BMX é equipe nova e busca ter seu espaço em São Carlos. O time existe há um ano e temos piloto com apenas cinco anos”, disse Everton, salientando que boa parte dos competidores tem idade entre 11 e 15 anos.”, emendou.
Satisfeito, afirmou que esta foi a primeira etapa do paulista que conquistaram seis medalhas. “Superou as expectativas, com certeza. Tem mais duas etapas até o final do ano e iremos estar presentes”, disse.
Os medalhistas são-carlenses foram Pedro Saldanha (categoria 5-6 anos), Victor Gatti (11-12 anos), Nathan Duarte (categoria 13-14 anos), Marlio Silva (15-16 anos), Vinicius Pariser (15-16 anos) e o técnico (e atleta) Everton Silva (45-49 anos).
A direção da ASC informou ainda que quem tiver interesse no esporte, os treinos acontecem na Pista de Bicicross do Botafogo, em frente à Escola Estadual Gabriel Felix do Amaral, nos dias e horários abaixo:
Terça-feira, quinta-feira e sexta-feira: 9h30 às 11h e das 14h30 às 16h; sábado das 15h às 18h.
“Os treinos são gratuitos e faz parte do projeto Pedal Consciente e da Escolinha de Ciclismo da Associação São-carlense de Ciclismo em parceria com a Prefeitura Municipal de São Carlos e Secretaria Municipal de Esportes e Cultura”, disse Everton.
