O Centro Paralímpico Brasileiro (CPB), em São Paulo, vai receber 4 mil crianças e jovens para a disputa da rodada deste sábado (19) da Liga Nescau. Além das disputas da maior competição estudantil do Brasil, os participantes terão a oportunidade de conviver com grandes nomes do esporte.

A jogadora de vôlei e campeã olímpica Tandara, o maior medalhista da história do Pan, o ex-nadador Thiago Pereira, e a medalhista paralímpica e parapan-americana Verônica Hipótlio estarão presentes no evento. As disputam serão entre 8h e 18h30 e a entrada é grátis.

A rodada deste sábado ganha um toque ainda mais especial. Isso porque, pela primeira vez, um evento privado promoverá uma competição para jovens atletas de modalidades convencionais e adaptadas serão realizadas emem um ambiente totalmente inclusivo, em que paratletas brasileiros contam com ótima estrutura de treinamento.

Desta vez, ao invés de levar os estudantes paratletas para os clubes, a competição trará as crianças e jovens sem deficiência para competir e conviver dentro da realidade das pessoas com deficiência e que se dedicam ao esporte. Ao todo, participarão cerca de 3 mil alunos de escolas, associações, ONGs, clubes e instituições de ensino nas modalidades convencionais. Entre os paratletas, a presença chega a casa de mil competidores.

Vôlei sentado, basquete em cadeiras de rodas, atletismo, natação, tênis de mesa, ginástica e bocha serão as modalidades adaptadas na etapa deste sábado. Lado a lado, os competidores do judô, natação, tênis de mesa e skate, que fará sua estreia na competição, disputam as modalidades convencionais.
