Em busca da diversidade e ampliação da prática esportiva, a Prefeitura de Mariana, por meio das Secretaria de Esporte, inaugura neste sábado (28) a Pista de Skate.
O complexo, que fica localizado ao lado da Arena Mariana, era um desejo antigo dos praticantes da modalidade, pois até o momento o município não contava com nenhum espaço adequado para a prática dos esportes urbanos.
O espaço conta diversas rampas e obstáculos, entre eles half, mini-ramp e ramp. Além disso, foi feita uma decoração característica no local, com pichações criativas e pinturas urbanas.
A inauguração terá início às 8h com a pista livre, às 8h30 iniciará cerimônia oficial e logo após será realizado demonstrações de skate profissional e BMX. Além disso, o evento contará com uma programação musical, incluindo batalha de rap e bandas locais.
