Após quatro etapas espalhadas pelo globo, inclusive uma em São Paulo, o Circuito Mundial Vans Park Series chegou ao fim. E a cidade norte-americana de Salt Lake City foi o palco da última etapa, que acabou coroando o sueco Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg como o grande campeão da temporada no skate park.
A final do skate park foi realizada neste sábado (6) e contou com a presença dos oito melhores ao longo de cinco etapas. Luiz Francisco, único brasileiro no evento, teve sua melhor volta um 81.00 e ficou longe da briga pelo pódio.
O sueco Oskar Rozenberg Hallberg alcançou 90.83 e passou longe dos demais adversários, conquistando o título do Circuito Mundial Vans Park Series de 2019. O segundo colocado foi o norte-americano Alex Sorgente, com 85.57, enquanto o também norte-americano Tristan Rennie terminou no terceiro lugar, com 83.73.
A etapa de Salt Lake City também coroou a melhor skatista da temporada no park. E o pódio feminino foi todo do Japão. Sakura Yosozumi foi a grande campeã, com 92.83. Kokona Hiraki foi a segunda melhor (83.90) e Mami Tezuka a terceira (81.83).
Yndiara Asp era a única representante brasileira na semifinal, mas teve uma queda que afetou seu desempenho e a tirou da finalíssima.
