Dia 1 de setembro, a partir das 8h, São Bernardo recebe a 2ª Etapa do Circuito Municipal de BMX Freestyle, que será realizada na pista da Praça Parque Benedito de Almeida Machado, no bairro Pauliceia.
Com entrada gratuita, o público poderá ver apresentações de Douglas Leite, Cauan Madona, Caio Rabisco e Mika Pelayes.
O evento contará com disputas em quatro categorias: mirim (até 12 anos), iniciante (até 16 anos), feminino e amador (livre). Para competirem, os atletas deverão fazer a inscrição no dia do evento, no período das 8h às 9h.
Menores de 18 anos só terão a inscrição efetivada mediante a presença do responsável ou a apresentação de autorização dos pais ou responsáveis legais.
As inscrições são gratuitas. No total, 20 vagas são disponibilizadas para a categoria mirim, 30 vagas para a categoria feminina, 40 vagas para a categoria iniciante e 60 vagas para a categoria amador.
Os melhores classificados serão premiados com troféu (o campeão de cada categoria) e medalhas (até o décimo colocado), além de diversos brindes, peças ou equipamentos esportivos da modalidade (até o quinto colocado).
Ao final das etapas, os campeões de cada categoria no ranking geral serão premiados com bike, quadro, coroas e/ou pedaleiras.
O Circuito Municipal de BMX Freestyle é composto por três etapas, sendo a primeira realizada no Parque Terra Nova II, em junho deste ano, e a última etapa prevista para outubro.
O objetivo da competição é incentivar a prática do BMX Freestyle na cidade, além de estabelecer um ranking municipal oficial da modalidade. O ranking do circuito será homologado pela Associação Brasileira de BMX Freestyle, entidade que regulamenta a categoria.

The BMX Freestyle Municipal Circuit consists of three stages, the first being held at Terra Nova Park II in June this year, and the last stage scheduled for October.
The aim of the competition is to encourage the practice of BMX Freestyle in the city, and to establish an official municipal ranking of the sport. The circuit ranking will be approved by the Brazilian Freestyle BMX Association, the entity that regulates the category.
