- Necessidade é a mãe da invenção. No mundo de hoje, a competição acirrada tornou-se a norma do dia. Isso impulsionou a criação de novos jogos que não apenas experimentam a força física e a resistência, mas também a habilidade competitiva e a experiência dos participantes, até então inexplorados. Esta mesma competição criou a necessidade de inventar e inspirou os organizadores a introduzir um novo jogo. Novos talentos e qualidades até então inexploradas dos jogadores vêm à tona devido à introdução de novas formas de competição saudável.
8.1 Importância educacional da competição
- Como nos estudos, os exames são realizados periodicamente para testar o conhecimento e a memória de um aluno, assim também as competições ajudam a decidir a agilidade, habilidade, conhecimento, espírito de equipe e experiência geral do jogador e da equipe. Como tal, as competições desempenham um papel muito importante na sociedade como um todo.

8.2 Benefícios dos torneios e jogo
A seguir estão alguns dos benefícios que são obtidos devido a competições.

4) Cidadão em geral e aluno em particular, desenvolvem um gosto pelo jogo.

7) Todos os participantes envolvidos, a saber: árbitros, juizes, jogadores, etc. obtêm uma boa experiência e uma exposição mais ampla.

9) Diferenças mesquinhas como: nivel social, religião, etc. são facilmente esquecidas e o time joga como uma unidade. Esta solidariedade se estende na sociedade como um todo e toda a nação é beneficiada.

Isso dá origem ao desenvolvimento de conhecimento de alta tecnologia, intelectuais, engenheiros, técnicos, médicos, fisioterapeutas, industrias etc, dedicar mais tempo para exercitar seus conhecimentos especializados para a melhoria do jogo.

Uma competição em uma cidade automaticamente leva a cidade para o mapa internacional e se torna um lugar de interesse turístico. Isso não só ajuda o mas também ajuda toda a nação a ganhar moeda estrangeira.
13. Com a ameaça cada vez maior de abuso de drogas e outras influências indesejadas nas crianças da escola, mais e mais pais se tornaram conscientes do esporte. Prefeririam muito mais que seu filho passasse seu tempo no parquinho, em vez de em qualquer outro lugar. Atividades esportivas não só ajudam a construir força física, mas também tornam o indivíduo mentalmente e emocionalmente forte.
14. No entanto, o cenário atual não é de todo encorajador. Sente-se angustiado ao ler sobre a fixação de colchetes ou os jogadores condenados por doping e abuso de drogas. Ganhar a qualquer custo e por qualquer meio tornou-se a prioridade desses torneios. Ganhar, claro, é uma razão para a participação, mas deve ser na força da habilidade e perícia da equipe e não com a ajuda de tais indulgências indesejadas.
8.3 Realizando o torneio.
Aqui propõe-se discutir as modalidades e a organização que se deve considerar antes de realizar um torneio. Organizar um torneio é um assunto gigantesco.
É uma equipe de organizadores que inclui as federações nacional e estadual do comitê esportivo, as autoridades governamentais e uma equipe de voluntários dedicados. Mesmo um torneio interclasse requer preparação meticulosa.
Torneios bem planejados e bem executados recebem muita publicidade e isso também gera muito interesse no jogo considerando o escopo do torneio. O propósito e a distribuição geográfica da organização dos participantes começam com muito trabalho de base. É preciso estar duplamente certo de que todo o os arranjos são propriamente feitos, que as regras e regulamentos são totalmente compreendidos pelas equipes que nenhuma equipe é colocada a qualquer dificuldade no que diz respeito ao alojamento e embarque. Uma instalação de treinamento apropriada deve ser providenciada e uma vigilância atenta deve ser mantida sobre as necessidades do jogador e dos oficiais acompanhantes.
E tudo isso para ser administrado enquanto geralmente promove um espírito de fraternidade considerando os aspectos acima, é preciso delegar trabalho de acordo para que diferentes comitês tenham que ser formados. Agora, tentaremos alistar algumas das comissões importantes e coordenar todo o caso de maneira sistemática. Normalmente, a formação das seguintes comissões deve ser feita. Um membro de um comitê também pode ser um membro de outro comitê desde que tenha tempo e energia suficientes para fazê-lo.

Agora vamos discutir o papel detalhado das comissões acima e como podemos ter uma coordenação adequada entre todos os membros das comissões. Embora a infra-estrutura acima pareça enorme, uma versão menor do mesmo pode ser seguida como uma diretriz para organizar o torneio.
8.4 Escopo dos diferentes comitês
8.4.1 O comitê organizador
Este comitê deve idealmente incluir pelo menos um membro de cada comitê. A principal responsabilidade do CO seria coordenar o trabalho de todas as comissões, dar-lhes uma orientação adequada e um quadro de funções, rever periodicamente o seu trabalho, assisti-los sempre que necessário. Em geral, este comitê será responsável pelo sucesso do torneio.
8.4.2 O comitê do programa
O objetivo deste comitê é finalizar o cronograma de todo o torneio. Mais de um torneio pode ser organizado simultaneamente; no entanto, não deve haver mais de lapidação de jogos. A programação das partidas deve ser tal que nenhuma equipe seja submetida a qualquer tensão física ou mental.
A outra função importante deste comitê é obter os formulários de inscrição impressos e distribuídos a todas as equipes / organizações interessadas e receber as taxas, se for o caso. Descreva a programação e informe as equipes sobre o dia, a data, o local e outros detalhes, como hospedagem e organização do embarque, etc.
Este comitê também é responsável pela impressão da brochura, ficando anúncios para o mesmo e finalizando o convidado principal em consulta com o comitê de relações públicas.
8.4.3 Comitê para equipamentos e instalações terrestres (técnico)
Uma vez que todo o sucesso do torneio depende de equipamento adequado, terreno e outros requisitos técnicos, os membros desta comissão devem ser preferencialmente bem treinados e ter conhecimento completo do jogo. Este comitê deve assegurar que um número suficiente de locais seja disponibilizado, e instalações apropriadas sejam fornecidas ao espectador, comentaristas, imprensa e outros dignitários.
8.4.4 Árbitro e comitê de seleção de jogo responsável.
Todo o sucesso do torneio depende de resultados justos e imparciais, que satisfaçam os concorrentes. Qualquer dúvida nas mentes das equipes participantes vai atrapalhar o crescimento do jogo. A responsabilidade de nomear árbitros e árbitros-chefes que farão justiça ao jogo e que estão bem informados e estão preocupados com a propagação do jogo está com este comitê.

8.1 Educational importance of competion
- As in academics, exams are held periodically to test the knowledge and memory of a student, so also competitions help in deciding the agility, skill, knowledge, team spirit and general expertise of the player and the team. As such, competitions play a very important role in society as a whole.

8.2 Benefits of tournaments and game
Following are a few of the benefits which are gained due to competitions.

13. With the ever increasing menace of drug abuse and other unwanted influences on the school going children, more and more parent have become sports conscious. They would much prefer their child spending his time on the playground rather than anywhere else. Sports activities not only help to build physical strength but also make the individual mentally and emotionally strong.
14. However the present scenario is not at ali encouraging. One feels distressed to read about mat fixing or the players convicted for doping and drug abuse. Winning at any cost and by any means has become the priority of these tournaments. Winning of course is a reason for participation, but it should be on the strength of skill and expertise of the team and not with the help of such unwanted indulgences.
8.3 Holding the tournament.
Here it is proposed to discuss the modalities and the organizational setup one has to consider before holding a tournament. Organizing a tournament is a gigantic affair.
It is a team of organizer which includes the sports committee's national and state levei federations, the government authorities and a team of dedicated volunteers. Even an interclass tournament requires meticulous preparation.
Well plan ned and well executed tournaments get a lot of publicity and this also generates a lot of interest in the game considering the scope of the tournament. The purpose and the geographical spread of the participant organizing begin with a lot of ground work. One has to be doubly sure that ali the arrangements are properly made, that the rules and regulations are fully understood by t he teams that no team is put to any hardship as far as lodging and boarding is concerned. A proper practice facility has to be provided and a close watch has to be kept on the needs of the player and accompanying officials.
And ali this is to be managed while generally fostering a spirit of brotherhood considering the above aspects one has to delegate work accordingly for witch different committees have to be formed. We will now try to enlist some of the important committees and how to co-ordinate the entire affair in a systematic manner. Normally formation of following committees should be made. Member of one committee can also be a member of another committee provided he has sufficient time and energy to do so.

Now we will discuss the detailed role of the above committees and how we can have a proper coordination amongst ali the committees members. Though the above infrastructure seems huge, a smaller version of the same can be followed as a guideline for organizing the tournament.
8.4 Scope of diferent committees
8.4.1 The organising committee
This committee should ideally include at least one member from each committee. The main responsibility of OC would be to co-ordinate the working of ali the committees, to give them a proper guideline and framework of duties, to periodically review their working, to assist them whenever required. In general this committee will be responsible for the success of the tournament.
8.4.2 The programme committee
The objective of this committee is to finalize the timetable of the entire tournament. More then one tournament can be organized simultaneously; however there should not be any over lapping of games. The schedule of the matches should be such that no team is put to any physical or mental strain.
The other important function of this committee is to get the application forms printed and distributed to ali the interested teams / organization and to receive the fees, if applicable. Chalk out the schedule and inform ali the teams about the day, date, venue and other details like their lodging and boarding arrangements etc.
This committee is also responsible for printing of the brochure, getting advertisements for the same and finalizing the chief guest in consultation with the public relation committee.
8.4.3 Committee for equipment and ground facility ( technical)
Since the entire success of the tournament depends upon proper equipment, ground and other technical requirements, the members of this committee should preferably be well trained and having complete knowledge of the game. This committee has to ensure that sufficient number of venues is made available, and proper facilities are provided to the spectator, commentators, pressS other dignitaries.
8.4.4 Referee and game in charge selection committee.
The entire success of the tournament depends up on fair and impartial results, which satisfy the contestants. Any doubts in the minds of the participating teams will hinder the growth of the game. The responsibility of appointing referee and chief umpires who will do proper justice to the game and who are knowledgeable and are concerned about propagating the game lies with this committee.
It can appoint.the umpires in consultation with the 4 organizing committee.
