O Parque Sào Jorge, sede social do Corinthians, ganhará uma pista de skate.
As obras já estào em estágio avançado e devem ser concluídas entre janeiro e fevereiro de 2019. De acordo com a vice-presidente do Timào. Edna Murad, a idéia de construir um espaço voltado aos skatistas surgiu de uma reunião "informal" com sócios do clube.
"Outros clubes também possuem pistas de skate, e com a Olimpíada de 2020 chegando com o skate como esporte olímpico, o Corinthians nào poderia ficar sem fazer parte", afirmou Edna em entrevista exclusiva ao Meu Timào.

"Com o projeto em 3D finalizado e aprovado, a obra é rápida. Mas a última parte, que é a de concretagem, costuma dar mais trabalho. E aí depois temos todos os testes práticos para fazer", acrescentou a vice.
"Queremos que se tome uma escolinha para ensinar skate a quem tiver interesse disse. "Esse projeto precisa fazer parte do departameyito de responsabilidade social do Corinthians, como fazemos com o boxe".
Como revelou o Meu Timão no último mês de março, o clube pretende inaugurar um skate park na Arena Corinthians. 0 plano, no entanto, ainda nào tem data para sair do papel.
