Esportes – Um show de manobras radicais foi apresentado durante a realização da 2aEtapa do Circuito Brasileiro Overground BMX Flatland Series 2018, neste domingo, 5/8, no Parque dos Bilhares, Chapada, zona Centro-Sul. Em cima de uma bicicleta BMX de aro 20, atletas que competiram pelas categorias iniciante, amador, master e profissional levantaram o público com manobras de tirar o fôlego.

O evento radical que reuniu os melhores atletas do país na modalidade é organizado pela MUF Association e contou com apoio da Prefeitura de Manaus, sob a coordenação das secretarias municipais de Juventude, Esporte e Lazer (Semjel) e de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (Semmas). A cidade está cotada para receber o mundial de BMX.
Conforme participação na edição deste domingo, os atletas que melhor pontuaram foram premiados com medalhas e brindes e podem garantir vaga na 3ª etapa do campeonato que será realizada nos dias 15 e 16 de setembro, na cidade de Itapevi, em São Paulo.
Mundial em Manaus
A capital do Amazonas é forte candidata a receber uma das etapas do Campeonato Mundial de BMX. O presidente da Associação Brasileira de BMX Freestyle (ABBMXF), Vagner Gonçalves, contou que Manaus está bem cotada para receber o evento e que data e local vão depender da organização internacional da modalidade.

Esporte Olímpico
Com sete modalidades, o BMX será incluído pela primeira vez em uma Olimpíada. O Park, modalidade que consiste em usar elementos vertical, street e dirt jump fará parte dos Jogos Olímpicos de Tóquio 2020, no Japão.
O Flatland, modalidade realizada neste domingo no Parque dos Bilhares e que é realizada em piso plano,está cotada para participar da Olimpíada de 2024, em Paris, na França.

Sports - A show of radical maneuvers was presented during the accomplishment of the 2ªEtapa of the Brazilian Circuit Overground BMX Flatland Series 2018, this Sunday, 5/8, in the Park of Bilhares, Chapada, zone Center-South. On top of a hoop BMX bike, athletes competing for the beginner, amateur, master and professional categories lifted the audience with breathtaking maneuvers.

The radical event that gathered the best athletes of the country in the modality is organized by the MUF Association and counted on the support of the Municipality of Manaus, under the coordination of the municipal secretariats of Youth, Sport and Leisure (Semjel) and Environment and Sustainability (Semmas) . The city is listed to host the BMX World Championship.
As part of this Sunday's edition, the athletes who scored the best were awarded medals and gifts and can guarantee a place in the 3rd stage of the championship that will be held on September 15 and 16, in the city of Itapevi, in São Paulo.
World in Manaus
The capital of Amazonas is a strong candidate to receive one of the stages of the World BMX Championship. Olympic Sport
