O evento vale como etapa do circuito paulista de skate vertical; é esperado um público de 1,5 mil pessoas.

Fevereiro, 2020 – Indaiatuba, cidade da RMC (Região Metropolitana de Campinas), sediará a segunda etapa da 4ª edição do Skate Vert Battle, o maior campeonato de skate vertical do Brasil. 

A competição será realizada neste sábado (29), na Pista de Skate do Parque Ecológico. O evento, que tem um público esperado de 1,5 mil pessoas, vale como Circuito Paulista de Skate Vertical e é homologado pela Federação Paulista de Skate e pela Confederação Brasileira de Skate. 

Essa segunda etapa terá duas categorias de disputa: Profissional e Amador, e contará com a presença dos principais skatistas do Brasil. As outras duas etapas ocorrerão em Taubaté (14 de março) e Jacareí (25 de abril).

O evento é realizado pelo Instituto Incentivar Esporte e Cultura, por meio da Lei Paulista de Incentivo ao Esporte da Secretaria de Esportes do Estado de São Paulo, e conta com o patrocínio master da NISSIN FOODS DO BRASIL, patrocínio do TNT Energy Drink e o apoio da Kanui. 

Esta etapa também recebe apoio da ASKIN (Associação dos Skatistas de Indaiatuba) e da Prefeitura Municipal de Indaiatuba. Segundo Paulo Pontes, presidente do Instituto Incentivar, o principal objetivo é estimular o protagonismo da modalidade “vertical” no cenário nacional. “O Skate Vert Battle está crescendo ano após ano, o que vem fortalecendo o movimento do esporte acessível no meio urbano. 

Nesta segunda etapa, estamos muito felizes em realizar as ações na nova pista pública, que foi conquistada pelos skatistas de Indaiatuba”, afirma Pontes.

Além da competição, no dia anterior (28), das 09 às 11hrs e das 14 às 16 horas, o evento contará com oficinas de skate da ONG Social Skate, parceira do Instituto Incentivar. Cerca de cem crianças da Associação Beneficiente Abid realizarão diversas atividades e terão o primeiro contato com o esporte.

Primeira etapa

A primeira etapa do Skate Vert Battle foi realizada em dezembro do ano passado, em Atibaia (SP). Foram definidos os campeões nacionais de 2019 nas categorias: Profissional Masculino (Luigi Cini); Feminino (Raicca Ventura) e Pro Master Masculino (Cristiano Mateus).

Programação: 

– 9h às 10h30-Treino livre amadores;

– 10h30 às 12h-Treino livre profissional;

– 12h30-Eliminatórias amador;

– 14h30-Eliminatórias profissional;

– 16h30-Best trick Kanui

– 17h-Finais Amador e Profissional;

– 18h-Premiação e encerramento.

Sobre o Instituto Incentivar

O Instituto Incentivar Esporte e Cultura nasceu em 2013, na cidade de São Paulo/SP, por meio da união entre profissionais e entusiastas de diversos campos de atuação em esporte e cultura, com o intuito de somar forças e a experiência de cada um e cada uma no sentido de propor, incentivar e viabilizar projetos que impactem a nossa sociedade.

The competition will be held this Saturday (29), at the Skate Park of the Ecological Park. The event, which has an expected audience of 1,500 people, counts as the Circuito Paulista de Skate Vertical and is approved by the São Paulo Skate Federation and the Brazilian Skate Confederation.

This second stage will have two categories of dispute: Professional and Amateur, and will be attended by the main skaters in Brazil. The other two stages will take place in Taubaté (March 14) and Jacareí (April 25).

The event is held by the Instituto Incentivar Esporte e Cultura, through the São Paulo Sports Incentive Law of the Sports Department of the State of São Paulo, and is sponsored by NISSIN FOODS DO BRASIL, sponsored by TNT Energy Drink and supported by from Kanui.

This stage also receives support from ASKIN (Indaiatuba Skaters Association) and Indaiatuba City Hall. According to Paulo Pontes, president of Instituto Incentivar, the main objective is to encourage the protagonism of the “vertical” modality on the national scene. “Skate Vert Battle is growing year after year, which has been strengthening the sport movement accessible in urban areas.

The Incentivar Esporte e Cultura Institute was born in 2013, in the city of São Paulo / SP, through the union between professionals and enthusiasts from different fields of activity in sport and culture, with the aim of adding strength and the experience of each and every one one in the sense of proposing, encouraging and making feasible projects that impact our society.

Há um ano, o bailarino Thiago Soares começou a traçar um plano cujo momento mais emocionante vai acontecer no próximo dia 29: na noite deste sábado, ele vai se despedir do Royal Ballet, de Londres, uma das mais importantes companhias do mundo. Será o final de um ciclo e o início de um novo. Afinal, foi lá que ele ingressou em 2002, depois que suas atuações internacionais impressionaram os membros do Royal. Apresentações tão especiais que logo, em 2006, Soares assumiu o ambicionado posto de primeiro-bailarino da companhia inglesa.

Minha carreira se assemelha à de um rapaz que entra em uma empresa como porteiro e logo chega a CEO, festeja o bailarino, cuja despedida é assunto dos principais jornais britânicos - o Financial Times, por exemplo, dedicou-lhe uma generosa matéria, na qual destaca as interpretações inteligentes que Soares conferiu a papéis complexos, além de resumir a acertada decisão de parar: A vida de um príncipe de balé é cruelmente curta e, ainda no auge, com seus 38 anos, ele faz sua última reverência em Covent Garden para iniciar uma nova vida como intérprete, coreógrafo e professor, diz o jornal.

Sim, decidi parar de dançar quando ainda estou em um ótimo momento da minha carreira, mas continuarei no palco, agora como um dançarino autônomo. Soares conversa com o jornal O Estado de S. Paulo por telefone desde Londres, enquanto prepara a apresentação de sábado. Ele decidiu dançar Onegin, coreografia criada por John Cranko em 1965, com música de Tchaikovski - não a conhecida partitura criada em 1878 para a ópera homônima, mas com obras menos conhecidas do compositor russo. Escolhi Onegin porque é um trabalho com diversos duetos e que me permite apresentar variações do meu trabalho.

De fato, a coreografia une técnica primorosa a um forte trabalho de interpretação, justamente as duas qualidades mais marcantes na dança executada por Soares. Com suas particularidades latinas depuradas pela técnica, o brasileiro levou novos elementos ao consagrado corpo de baile britânico. Foi um casamento perfeito.  Ao longo dos anos, percebi que no Royal existia um jeito próprio de dançar, muito próximo da atuação teatral. O personagem fala através do corpo, com forte carga dramática - certamente há algo da tradição de Shakespeare. E, graças à minha experiência com street dance, consegui me adaptar com facilidade  

Ao contrário dos grandes bailarinos, que vestem sapatilhas ainda crianças, Soares teve um início tardio. Nascido em Niterói em 1981, ele ingressou no Centro de Dança do Rio quando estava com 16 anos, para dançar jazz. Na época, graças à insistência de uma professora, iniciou o aprendizado de balé clássico. Logo, descobriu sua aptidão: em 1998, ganhou medalha de prata no Concurso Internacional de Dança de Paris e, ao retornar ao Brasil, é convidado a integrar o corpo de baile do Teatro Municipal do Rio.

Soares já revelava as qualidades que o destacavam, uma fisicalidade e um carisma inatos. Era um gladiadorzinho, brinca. Em 2001, participou do Concurso Internacional de Ballet do Teatro Bolshoi, na Rússia, e conquistou a medalha de ouro. Mais que isso: chamou a atenção de Makhar Vaziev, então diretor do Mariinsky Ballet, que o convidou para ficar. Vaziev ficara impressionado com um detalhe: as aterrissagens assustadoramente macias feitas por Soares depois dos saltos, conseguindo pousar na ponta dos dedos e vagarosamente até descer o calcanhar.

Precisou de pouco tempo para chegar ao Royal Ballet, no qual ingressou como Primeiro Artista em 2002, iniciando uma rápida ascensão: promovido a Solista em 2003, Primeiro Solista no ano seguinte até chegar a Principal em 2006, posição que deixou no ano passado, quando passou a ser o principal dançarino convidado

Após a apresentação no sábado, Soares vai focar em sua carreira solo. E a agenda já está recheada: no dia 8 de maio, ele inicia em Lisboa a turnê de Roots, em que resgata o início da sua vida artística no Rio, dançando break e hip-hop aos 12 anos, nas ruas e festas da zona norte. O espetáculo vai, em seguida, para Berlim.

No meio do ano, Thiago Soares inicia aulas na escola de verão do Royal Ballet e ainda não descarta uma montagem de Yerma, de Villa-Lobos, para o Municipal do Rio, cidade onde não abandona seus alunos - hoje são 12. Também prepara um livro sobre sua trajetória.  Faz um ano que trabalho nesse projeto, é quase terapêutico relembrar histórias tão boas. 

Em 2006, Soares assumiu o ambicionado posto de primeiro-bailarino da companhia inglesa.
