De outubro a novembro, de 20121, anunciou, esta segunda-feira, o responsável que promove a prova que congrega as várias modalidades.

Ainda de acordo com a World Roller, entidade que rege o desporto patins a nível mundial, a escolha foi unânime e sem surpresa, depois de a Argentina ter recebido em 2018 os Jogos Olímpicos da Juventude e a Taça Intercontinental de hóquei em patins, que o F. C. Porto perdeu para o Barcelona.

A terceira edição dos Jogos Mundiais de Patins vão visitar um terceiro continente, após a edição de estreia ter decorrido na China (Ásia), em 2017, e de a segunda decorrer este ano em Barcelona (Europa), de 4 a 14 de julho.

As várias provas de patins, entre hóquei em patins, artística, velocidade, skate, alpino, freestyle, roller derby, downhill, inline e scooter, vão decorrer nas cidades de Buenos Aires, Vicente López e San Juan.
