A pista fica no "Parque do Skate" localizado dentro do Parque de Kugenuma Kaihin, próximo a popular ilha de Enoshima. Ela tem 1.100 m2 e rampas dos mais variados tipos e dificuldades, para agradar todos os skatistas de Kanagavva e do Japão.
A inauguração da pista foi realizada no domingo (25) e contou com a participação de atletas profissionais de skate, estudantes da região e demais convidados e particpantes.
Seções de demonstração foram realizadas para mostrar os atrativos da novidade. Após a cerimônia, a pista foi aberta ao público e várias crianças aproveitaram para testar a novidade.
A abertura da pista faz parte de uma iniciativa para promover o skate, que será uma das modalidades das Olimpíadas e Paraolimpíadas de Tóquio 2020.

The largest skateboard in Japan opens at Skate Park in Kanagawa.
