A Patinação CCR do Colégio Cônsul participou, de 15 a 20 de outubro, da Copa Mercosul de Patinação Artística que ocorreu na cidade de Campo Bom/RS. A equipe contou com 11 atletas, competindo em 53 provas, que trouxeram para Brusque 45 medalhas (11 de ouro, 10 de prata, 11 de bronze, 7 de quarto lugar, 6 de quinto lugar).
Maria de Lourdes Hassmann - 65 anos, (ou “Vó Preta” como era chamada por muitos na Copa) acompanhou a sua neta, a atleta Gabriela Heinz na Copa Mercosul, diz que foi uma experiência única, "mesmo sendo cansativo foi muito gratificante. Me senti muito acolhida pela equipe, senti como se estivéssemos em família. É emocionante ver a torcida, as crianças, estar perto da minha neta. Uma sensação única tudo o que eu vivi, agradeço todos que nos acolheram e nos ajudaram”.
A pequena Ana Laura de 10 anos diz que a Copa Mercosul além de ser muito animada é muito organizada. "Me diverti, fiz amizades e fiquei muito feliz com os resultados que conquistei. A patinação é um esporte que me deixa muito feliz, eu me sinto livre sobre as rodas”.
Para Mariana, poder participar da Copa Mercosul representa um grande termômetro para o seu ano. "A patinação artística para mim traz inúmeros benefícios, saúde, disciplina, foco e ainda posso fazer muitos amigos a cada campeonato. A equipe acaba sendo minha família".
Cerca de 1.000 atletas competiram neste campeonato, representando vários estados do Brasil e atletas de outros países como Uruguai, Paraguai e Argentina.

Consul's skating team wins medals in the Mercosur Cup.
The CCR Skating Championship of Cônsul participated, from October 15 to 20, in the Mercosur Artistic Figure Skating Cup held in the city of Campo Bom / RS. The team counted on 11 athletes, competing in 53 events, that brought to Brusque 45 medals (11 of gold, 10 of silver, 11 of bronze, 7 of fourth place, 6 of fifth place).
