Entre os dias 28 e 29 de julho, atletas de BMX de Manhuaçu participaram da 4ª etapa do Campeonato Mineiro de Bicicross. O evento foi realizado na cidade de Curvelo. A Prefeitura, através da Secretaria de Esportes, apoiou os desportistas. Os atletas foram acompanhados pelo atleta e professor Anderson.

No total, oito atletas representaram o município de Manhuaçu e se deram bem. Na categoria Boys 8 anos, o atleta José Davi de Andrade (Manhuaçu) conquistou o primeiro lugar. Já Sérgio Edmundo Ramalho Neto ficou em segundo lugar na categoria Boys 10 anos.

Pela categoria Júnior Men, Thales Gomes ficou em segundo lugar. O manhumiriense Kelvin Willian Buzim Carvalho terminou em primeiro. Na categoria Men 17 a 24 anos, o manhuaçuense Hudson Alves da Silva, concluiu a prova em quarto.

Pela categoria Cruiser 17 a 24 anos, o atleta Vinícius Dias da Silva ficou em primeiro lugar. João Luiz Nascimenro Satheler terminou em segundo lugar na categoria MTB Cross. Já pela Elite Men, Marcelo Jose Marfot Pernambuco foi o primeiro colocado.
