No Pavilhão da Fidelidade. Benfica e Sporting se enfrentam no jogo da 21ª rodada da 1ª fase do Campeonato Nacional.
Do lado das águias, que lideram a classificação apenas com vitórias e mais três pontos que as leoas, o técnico Paulo Almeida reconhece que o duelo que vem, devido à rivalidade histórica entre os emblemas, deixa as emoções mais na pele, mas no horizonte há apenas uma afirmação: somar três pontos.
O objetivo do Benfica é sempre vencer. Este fim-de-semana é mais importante porque é um derby, num Benfica-Sporting as emoções são mais fortes. Minha equipe trabalhará com apenas um resultado em mente, que está ganhando. Ainda há muito campeonato pela frente, e ainda há o play-off, mas queremos terminar apenas com vitórias, disse Paulo Almeida em entrevista coletiva.
Vencendo este jogo, estamos seis pontos à frente. É isso que queremos, mais uma vitória. Será o quarto derby do ano esportivo, temos três vitórias. Jogamos em casa, com nosso público e a equipe está muito confiante. Um dos objetivos era chegar às quatro finais da Copa da Europa e conseguimos. Teremos tempo para pensar nos quatro finais. Agora o jogo é com o Sporting, estamos focados no derby e queremos apenas vencer, afirmou o treinador.
O fato de o jogo ser disputado no Dia Internacional da Mulher é mais uma razão pela qual as bancas do Pavilhão Fidelidade têm ainda mais vida, cor e animação, na perspectiva do jogador do Benfica Maca Ramos.
É mais uma razão para nos apoiar. Este é o primeiro derby em nossa casa. Estamos em primeiro lugar no campeonato e queremos conquistar esses três pontos. Será um jogo muito interessante, contra o Benfica todas as equipas tentam dar o seu melhor. Seria muito bom se o Pavilhão estivesse bem composto, desejou a defesa do Benfica.
